Steamboat – restaurants and activities

The food choices in Steamboat Springs are off the charts. Ore House rocks the steak dinner and Taco Cabo showcases south of the border cuisine paired with “right on the Yampa River” patio seating and killer margaritas.

Smell the Bread bakery is the perfect way to start the day and Cafe Diva the best way to wind the evening down (incredible wine selection).

Mambo hits the mark every time and Mahogany Brewery does not disappoint.  Of course, the classic Steamboat Meat & Seafood Company provides a welcome afternoon break from the shopping and downtown gallery browsing.

The gondola ride up Mount Werner with a hike around the upper trails or the trip to Fish Creek Falls gives the day a nice break and the chance to connect with nature.  Speaking of nature, a stroll down the Yampa River trail or a cruise around the Botanic Park will round out the day nicely.

Whether it’s the Hot Springs or the ice cream at the city drug store – there is something to please everyone in Steamboat Springs.  Enjoy!
